Joe Murphy - Architectural Designer
Joe is a Vermont native who has spent the majority of his life in Addison County. Since childhood he has had an interest in architecture and building structure. In high school he began taking advanced college courses in architectural engineering to pursue a career in Architecture. After graduating high school he continued on to college and graduated from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston, MA. At Wentworth, he obtained a Bachelors of Science in Architecture. Since graduating he has held positions at architectural and drafting firms, working as a draftsman and architectural designer. The variety of work he has done at these positions helped him develop a wealth of knowledge in various fields. From design aesthetics and layout of a home to the structure that holds it up, he is able to do it all. Kyle Gingras - Millwork
Kyle was born and raised in Addison County. Throughout his childhood, he was frequently exposed to the fine woodworking industry as a carpenters' assistant for his father John. During this time, he gained an immense appreciation for the skill and talent involved. After receiving an Associates of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Vermont Technical College, he went onto pursue his technical passion in CNC programming for a furniture company in Brandon, Vermont. He also had the opportunity to later work for a local millwork company in Middlebury, Vermont. While working in the woodworking industry, it has allowed Kyle to merge his two passions of fine craftsmanship and technical aptitude into a labor of love. He is now focused on refining his millwork skills for Addison Residential while also integrating the various technologies in the ever-evolving industry. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys working on mechanical projects, golfing, camping and spending time with family & friends. John Gingras - Millwork
John was born and raised in Vermont. He grew up on his family's dairy farms and realized his interest in woodworking at a young age. During his education John focused on architectural drafting and woodworking. John started his career in residential construction; later to concentrate on finish trim and cabinetry. He went on to start his own woodworking/cabinet business in 2000 to pursue his passion of fine finishing. Several of John's kitchen's and furniture pieces have been published in national magazines. In 2013, John continued his career with a local home construction company as manager of the cabinet department. In his spare time John enjoys spending time with his wife, 4 children and 3 grandchildren. Michael Gingras - President/Consultant
Mike grew up in Addison County, Vermont on dairy farms. In 6th grade he took interest in drafting and building houses. From that point forward through high school, he took drafting courses which eventually led him to attend Vermont Technical College. There, he obtained a degree in Architectural Engineering Design. For nearly 24 years, Mike owned and operated a design/build firm in Addison County specializing in log home building. during this time he built over 300 homes throughout the Northeast. Twelve of his homes were recognized and featured in national building publications. This also included an award for Most Outstanding Home/Office building in 1997 by the NAHB. Today, his focus is on exceptional design & engineering services and producing specialty millwork, in support of builders and homeowners throughout the Northeast. |
